•ForWindows7:
1.PressCtrl+Alt+F12.TheIntel

GraphicsandMediaControlPanelwindowopens.
2.SelectAdvancedModeandclickOK.
3.SelectMultipleDisplays.
4.IntheOperatingModeeld,selectoneofthefollowingoptionsdependingonyourneedsandfollow
theinstructionsonthescreentocompleteothercongurations.
–SingleDisplay:Dependingonyourconguration,thecomputeroutputisdisplayedeitheronthe
computerdisplayortheDVImonitor.
–CloneDisplays:Thesamecomputeroutputisdisplayedonboththecomputerdisplayand
theDVImonitor.
–ExtendedDesktop:Differentcomputeroutputisdisplayedonthecomputerdisplayandthe
DVImonitor.
•ForWindows8:
1.Movethecursortothetop-rightorbottom-rightcornerofthescreenandclicktheDevicescharm.
2.ClickSecondscreenandselectDuplicate,Extend,orSecondScreenOnly.
ConsiderationsforconnectingaDVImonitor
ConnectaDVImonitortotheexpansionunit,andturnonthemonitorbeforeyouturnonthecomputer.
Otherwisethesystemcannotrecognizethatthemonitorisconnected.IftheoptionforenablingtheDVI
monitorintheDisplayPropertieswindowisnotdisplayed,tryclosingthewindowandopeningitagain.Ifthe
optionstillisnotdisplayed,makesurethattheconnectorofthemonitorisattachedrmly,andrepeatthe
procedureforconnectingthemonitor.
UsingtheMiniDisplayPortconnector
Dependingonthemodel,yourcomputermighthaveaMiniDisplayPortconnector,whichisadigitaldisplay
interfaceforconnectiontovariousexternaldevices,suchascathoderaytube(CRT)monitors,LCDmonitors,
projectors,orevenhigh-denitiontelevisions.Thiscompactconnectorenablesaplug-and-playsetupand
supportsadaptersthatcanplugintoDVI,VGA,orHigh-DenitionMultimediaInterface(HDMI™)connectors.
TheMiniDisplayPortconnectorofyourcomputersupportsaudioaswellasvideostreaming.
UsingtheThunderboltconnector
Dependingonthemodel,yourcomputermighthaveaThunderboltconnector.Itenablesyoutoconnect
yourcomputertoadevicethatiscompatiblewiththeThunderboltinterfaceorMiniDisplayPortinterface,
suchasCRTmonitors,LCDmonitors,projectors,orhigh-denitiontelevisions.TheThunderboltconnector
